In December 2025, our company welcomed an "unexpected visitor"—Tobias, a renowned local tea retailer from Germany. Prior to his visit, we had never collaborated in any capacity. His original purpose for traveling to China was to inspect an order at his existing packaging supplier's facility; however, during his stay, he stumbled upon the YanKing Packaging website and reached out to request a tour of our factory. In the past, Tobias had utilized a flip-top box design featuring standard black paper stock, gold foil stamping, and an EVA foam insert. Tobias felt that his current packaging was rather unremarkable and lacked visual appeal—a shortcoming that was significantly dampening his sales and, more importantly, failed to do justice to the quality of his tea products.

Upon receiving the inquiry, YanKing’s team of packaging experts conducted a detailed assessment of the client’s product dimensions, weight, and target demographic’s aesthetic preferences. Based on this analysis, they crafted a bespoke, 360-degree packaging solution: the outer box material was upgraded to a textured specialty paper; the inner tray was fabricated from higher-density EVA foam—reshaped to ensure a snug, custom fit for the tea products—and a decorative gold waistline was added to the exterior to enhance the box's luxurious appeal.
Tobias inquired whether we could produce a sample within two days, as he would only be remaining in China for that duration. Leveraging the advantages of our direct-from-factory operations, YanKing provided Tobias with dedicated one-on-one design support and successfully produced a complimentary sample within the requested two-day timeframe. After confirming the quality and aesthetics of the sample, Tobias immediately placed an order with us for 1,500 packaging sets.
